Handwriting analysis offers insights about who you are. It also provides you with an opportunity to change what you believe about yourself. Kathi McKnight, handwriting expert, tells us that how we write comes from our subconscious, and once you understand why you're writing the way you do, you can purposefully and intentionally make changes to change your life.

Several years ago I changed my signature for prosperity. According to Lillian Too in her book Easy to Use Feng Shui, an upward stroke at the beginning of your signature and an upward ending stroke are auspicious. My income has quadruped in the past 2 years. Coincidence?

If you'd like to change your life for the better, change your handwriting. Here's what Kathi reveals about me from a sample I gave her in December (see sample below). I am already working on the changes she suggested.
--Kathie Seedroff

"The large buckle in the capital K's resemble what we call a "tie" stroke. And tie strokes are made when the writer typically puts pressure on themselves and is persistent."

"Notice the break in the baseline on the word "totally" (see image below). Wherever there are breaks on the baseline WITHIN a word, it means the writer is intuitive. Look at the word "change" and see all the breaks in there. A lot of them. I also look at the actual words where certain strokes show up to give even more meaning. Kathie brings her immense intuitive skills to help people with c h a n g e."

"The "n" in change also has a deep wedge, which represents deep thoughts, intelligence, analytical ability as well as the ability to size a situation up on a dime! Marvelous qualities that you would want your Feng Shui Expert to have if she is coming in to evaluate your home!"

"Notice the high crossings of the "t" bars on the word "better" Those are ideal. And Kathie aleady knows a little bit about grapho-therapy (the science of changing your writing to change your life!) The higher the t's are crossed on the t bar, the higher the person's self esteem and goals."

"I point out the letter o in "exposed." It has a loop on the right side of the letter "o" That means this person can keep a confidence or secret about anything in their environment. Translated, if Kathie comes into your home or office and stumbles upon a major Feng Shui faux pas…none shall be the wiser! Mum's the word. You can count on Kathie to keep a confidence, a confidence."

"Your signature is large. It's not afraid to take up space or room on the paper. Especially the first letters of each name. Those are quite a bit larger than the rest of the writing/words."

"That is actually a good thing to find. When the writer's first letters of each name are much larger in comparison to the rest of the word (in the signature) that means the person has a strong sense of Self, a healthy ego which is required in

"The f's in Seedroff are long lower loops that also look like a very slender figure 8. Another wonderful find. This is someone who can make ANY story sound fascinating. If they went to the grocery and back, when they returned they could weave it into the most interesting sounding adventure. Parts of that letter which I won't disclose here (traders' secrets, don't you know) show me that Kathie really enjoys to travel. Kathie would have no trouble traveling the distance to give a presentation. She would enjoy it."

"See the x's in the baseline that I have circled in "Kathie?" Notice how it creates an x on the baseline? That is something you will wish to do grapho-therapy on. It is a sign of depression. When I first learned graphology I had it in my last name and my Teacher had me take it out!" [Yes! I will be working on this little issue.]

"The final fun thing is the "r" in Seedroff. Notice how it almost looks like a pair of rabbit ears and if you really squint your eyes you can see that it almost looks like a "greek e" at a slant. That means the writer has a latent hidden talent that will come out later in life!" [Woo! Hoo! I wonder what that could be?] order to be successful in their career."

"Notice I circled the letter "g" in go. Notice how it loops around like a figure 8. That g is a classic textbook example of fluidity of thinking. The writer's thoughts and words flow easily from one idea to the next. The figure "8" that shows up represents loyalty and dedication. Anytime the number 8 shows up as a stroke in handwriting it represents dedication to something."
